An overall understanding of quality client service, a proven track record of working in multifunctional teams and across multiple geographies, strong business acumen and the instinct to think and act globally are essential for advancement within Deloitte Services LP.   Job Overview: Manages the Human Resources activities for the Pacific Southwest Region Deloitte Tax LLP (Tax) professionals.   Job Responsibilities: Develops strategies to drive and deliver various Human Resources initiatives through the function and to reduce the turnover of professionals.  In addition, this role develops ways to partner with the business to increase the visibility of HR.  The Human Resource function also manages the overall performance management process including compensation and goal setting and handles a variety of employee relations issues.   This role establishes and maintains relationships with the Human Resource Partners and Tax Service Line Leaders.     Specific duties include: - Consult, develop and maintain relationships with partners and staff - Team with other HR professionals to implement functional programs and customize as necessary for the Region - Performance Management - manage/drive processes and support culture relating to mentoring, counseling, goal setting, performance feedback, and career planning for employees - Employee Relations - maintain appropriate contact with our professionals to stay abreast of concerns and address personnel issues, work with practice leaders on outplacement due to performanceissues, conduct and manage the exit interviews and compile report to Service Line Leaders on findings, review turnover analysis and promote retention of talented professionals - Reward and Recognition - implement all regional activities and prompt leadership on the use of the reward and recognition program - Compensation - work closely with Service Line leaders, conduct annual compensation process (reviewing market studies, performance results and peer ranges to ensure fair and reasonable compensation adjustments) - Flexible Work Arrangements - oversee the implementation for all flexible work arrangements for qualified professionals - Manage the exit interview process with all departing staff and provide anonymous summary feedback and trending to leadership - Immigration - liaise with national office immigration coordinators to handle immigration issues - WIN/Diversity - Provide HR leadership for key firm initiatives e.g. WIN and Diversity  - BA/BS degree preferred and a minimum of 6 - 8 years experience in Human Resources Management - Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and work well under pressure - The incumbent must have a proven track record of driving significant HR initiatives and must possess the ability to influence Partners and Senior Leaders on key issues, especially in the area of retention and career development - Demonstrated analytical skills, problem/issue identifications and resolution skills, project management skills - Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment - Experience in Employee Relations, Performance Management and Compensation required - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as a team member About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
