Human Resources Compensation Senior Manager

If so, we want to talk with you about joining our dynamic growing team! We are currently seeking an experienced professional to lead Omniture’s Compensation function.
The Sr. Manager, Compensation will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the strategy, design, and administration of Omniture’s broad-based compensation and recognition programs in support of the company goals and competitive practices. This manager will also be responsible for the implementation and administration of companywide compensation programs, including job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, annual and long-term management cash incentives, sales compensation support, recognition and international pay programs.
The incumbent must be proficient in interpreting and applying HR regulations and practices, and possess an in-depth working knowledge in the areas of international compensation, tax, labor laws, and cultural issues. The person in this role will assure through audits, reports and administration that Omniture’s compensation programs are consistently administered and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Description
Coordinates the administration of executive programs including stock, perquisites, long-term incentives, and other executive programs. Oversees administration of Expatriate pay within the company. Designs and administers the company’s performance management, appraisal and salary administration programs. Develops complex Human Resources and financial analyses to support compensation policy recommendations. Analyzes current compensation programs for alignment with business objectives and compensation competitiveness. Leads market data analyses projects and provides recommendations for pay levels. Participates in salary surveys. Ensures job descriptions are complete and up-to-date. Leads compensation training and education programs for the management team. Ensures the accuracy and adherence to all compensation administrative rules. Oversees the annual compensation processes. Prepares compensation-related communication pieces such as brochures, incentive plan documentation, and pay administration publications. Leads the design/implementation of corporate-wide employee recognition programs Partners with Finance and IT to ensure compensation and processes are automated and integrated into the HRIS. Monitors the effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines and procedures, worldwide. Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance (SEC, SOX, etc.).
Qualifications
The candidate must have seven or more years of experience in all aspects of compensation. The ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management, is required. Strong analytical skills are imperative. The incumbent must have the ability to obtain, present and discuss information and recommendations that may be controversial in nature. S/he must be capable of leading or influencing processes and decision making at a senior level. Other requirements include experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, project management skills and strong written, verbal and presentation skills, strong analytical and computer skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in one or more of the following is preferred: compensation consulting, compensation program design/administration and HR/Comp support in a sales environment.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities
Minimum of 7-10 years experience as a Compensation professional at the management level within a dynamic, fast-paced environment Experience designing and implementing broad-based compensation plans Experience administering executive compensation strategy Experience designing and implementing sales compensation/commission strategies Strong executive presence with strong communications skills and business acumen Experience in a start-up environment, where wearing multiple hats and holding multiple responsibilities was the norm, is highly desirable Extensive knowledge of compensation, HRIS, and metrics & planning A team orientation that will allow the selected candidate to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment A strong business mindset with an aptitude to gather and analyze data and translate that data into meaningful human resource initiatives Strong written communication skills to include a proficiency in general business software applications Ability to articulate and forecast how compensation will impact the respective units both financially and from a cultural and competitive perspective A BA/BS degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration/Business Management or related discipline. Professional certifications related to Compensation and/or Benefits is highly desirable. MBA with HR/Management specialization preferred Strong qualitative and analytical skills and have the ability to perform statistical calculations and evaluate results. Equity program experience preferred Experience managing expatriate programs is preferred
