Human Resources Administrator
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team! Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance, you will be involved in a wide variety of human resources functions. These functions will include maintaining and administering company-wide employee benefit programs, including Group Health, retirement plans, disability & life insurance programs as well as assistance with recruiting and other miscellaneous tasks. The Human Resources Administrator is the first point of contact for employees, supervisors and managers who have questions or issues concerning benefits. You will compile data analyses and reports, interface with vendors to improve processes and service levels, help coordinate benefits communications, and assist employees and managers with requests for information about benefits. You will also help to fulfill general information and reporting needs of Senior Management.
Job Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration
· Administers all employee activity, including enrollments, changes and terminations, in various employee benefit programs such as group insurance, life, medical and dental, accident and disability, insurance, retirement savings and health maintenance organizations.
· Actively communicates benefits information to employees and encourages participation.Investigate new benefit programs, improve existing programs, supervise and monitor benefit activityAssist in the management of the benefit plan renewal processAssists accounting team with reconciliation of monthly benefit plan billingsServe as a consultant to all team members regarding any and all benefit issues, concerns and questionsEnsures proper recordkeeping of all benefit materials and contractsAdministers new hire paperworkHandles all benefit enrollment proceduresProvides customer service support to employees and vendorsDevelop communication tools to enhance better understanding of benefits packageResponsible for distribution of summary plan descriptionsManages Open Enrollment processMay create and administer benefit presentations to team
Recruiting
·Coordinates job postings on online job posting Web sites, Company’s website and any other appropriate recruiting venue.
·Performs reference checks, background checks and any pre-employment tests as appropriate.
·Keeps accurate records of all openings and applicants as required by law.
Compliance
· Stays current on recent federal and state case law changes and monitors labor law updates.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:Bachelor’s degree Minimum 2-4 years experience in benefits administrator or similar roleKnowledge of all benefit programs, plan documents, and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with Department of Labor and company Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate information to all levels of teamAdept at identifying, prioritizing and managing important tasks and issues and ability to multi-taskExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)Work in a team environment, work independently and proactively as needed to identify problems and find solutionsHigh level of professionalismA results-oriented attitude and a proactive business styleSend resume + cover letter, as well as salary requirements, to hradmin@globalfit.com .
