You could qualify for a $750-$1500 HIRING BONUS!We provide: work vehicle, gas, cell phone, computerized routing & schematics, and specialized tools.Sears technicians diagnose and repair all kitchen appliances including stoves, ovens, ranges, dishwashers, and garbage disposals and other appliances while providing superior service in customer's homes. Sears technicians are the best equipped in the industry---you will be provided a Sears van, laptop computer. In fact, Sears technicians travel directly to their first call from home each morning. We have a computer-generated routing system that enables us to maximize customer satisfaction.QualificationsTo provide the proper customer focus, the In-Home Service Technician must:Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customerDemonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments Successfully complete all Technician II training elements within required timeframesMeet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the businessProvide knowledgeable and courteous repair serviceContinuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experienceFollow the Value Added Services Process (i.e., selling extended warranties, water filters, etc.) by effectively communicating the benefits to the customerProvide direction to a Technical Helper, as applicableAbility to receive truck stock at home if the company vehicle is retained at the technician's place of residence or other designated location.Mentor other technicians, as applicableMaintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standardsFollow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truckAdhere to all company policies and proceduresPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedTraining Wage for first 4-6 weeks is $12.80 per hour.Base pay following training is $14.60-$15.77 per hour, depending on experience.BenefitsAs a Sears associate, your career path options will be determined by your performance and your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
