Help Desk Support III (282877-695)
The Analyst/Help Desk Technicians will maintain a Tier 3 DMLSS-FM Help Desk program for BUMED MTFs. Specific tasks include:
Æ’{ Entering Help Desk tickets to document problems reported by customers.
Æ’{ Contacting site personnel via telephone and e-mail to follow-up on status of Help Desk tickets and to gather information needed to resolve open tickets.
Æ’{ Closing help desk tickets when complete.
ƒ{ Entering and managing ¡§Trackers¡¨ for those Help Desk tickets that require targeted data clean-up via data patch or a software bug fix.
Æ’{ Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to run Business Objects reports in support of gathering data for data calls, performance metrics, monthly reports and quarterly reports.
Æ’{ Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to gather information to resolve Help Desk tickets.
Æ’{ Demonstrated knowledge military medical logistics terminology and processes.
Æ’{ Ability to interface with DMLSS users at multiple facilities
Æ’{ Ability to interact with and resolve user problems
Æ’{ Must have excellent communication skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be familiar with DoD medical logistics systems
Experience Required:
Applicant shall have at least five years experience in the military medical environment, and at least 3 years experience in the military medical logistics operations. The candidate must have the ability to understand medical logistics terminologies.
