The Opportunity:
The HR Specialist is responsible for administering Miner’s human resources plans and procedures for all company employees. The position also assists with the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, payroll, and recruiting.

Responsibilities:
· Enthusiastically assists, implements, and administers the policies and procedures of Miner.
· Accurately and efficiently process payroll bi-weekly.
· Actively promotes Miner and recruits for all positions by using Top-Grading methods.
· Maintains benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and COBRA
· Administers Miner’s compensation program.
· Monitors Miner’s performance evaluation program.
· Ensures Miner is in compliance of all federal and state regulations.
· Continually looks for ways to improve employee relations and programs.
· Provide excellent customer service to future and current Miner employees.
· Develop and coordinate Miner’s on-boarding and mentoring programs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of Human Resources experience, or five years of experience in the HR field.
· Experience with ADP PayExpert preferred.
· Extensive interviewing skills.
· Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and proper hiring practices.
· Available to travel up to 25% of the time.
· Exceptional people and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Familiarity and use of Topgrading principals preferred
