REPORTS TO: General Manager – Human Resources
Summary
Performs professional level human resources work and carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas--staffing, employee relations, compensation, training, employment, and personnel research.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
Interviews job applicants to select people meeting employer qualifications.
Records additional knowledge, skills, abilities, interests, test results, and other data pertinent to selection and referral of applicants.
Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
Maintains an active applicant flow tracking of candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Conduct one-on-one orientations of new hires covering company culture, organization overview and specific HR policies.
Accountable for data entry into Human Resources database including new hire data, transfers, pay adjustments and separations for personnel.
Performs records management by archiving and tracking archived files, maintaining the employee records, ensuring the security of confidential information, maintaining filing system
Ensures accurate and timely processing of all employee transactions
Coordinates and manages new hire process.
Analyzes and provides advice to personnel on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems.
Assist in developing and proposing improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations.
Assists with special projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related fieldMinimum 3 Years experience in the HR Field
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
2. Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works, to maintain constructive working relationships.
3. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
4. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to detail
5. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
7. High Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office programs
8. Experience with Oracle is a plus.
