Our client currently has a challenging opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to support our union and non-union employee workforce. The facility is on a 9/80-work schedule over two weeks (44 hours/ 36 hours) respectively, providing every other Friday off.

 

Manage a full range of generalist responsibilities including but not limited to the following areas:

Staffing

Contract administration

HR policies and procedures

Performance Management systems

Employee advocacy and employee relations issues

Ensure regulatory compliance for EEO, employment law

Facilitate process improvements for administrative excellence in Human Resources

Maintain HRIS database information

Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience in fostering the partnership between business and HR

Experience in serving as a joint advocate for the organization and employees

Demonstrated ability to positively influence all organizational levels

Ability to resolve/facilitate employee relations issues

Working knowledge and understanding of HR functions, programs and practices

BA/BS preferred
