Graphic Designer (Level 2) - Smart Set

Collaborates with the Creative Supervisor and the Senior Graphic Designer in researching, conceptualizing, developing and executing the creative solutions of various tools in line with the brand platform and that support our efforts to elevate the brand equity through all customer touch points: flyers, point-of-purchase promotions, fashion posters, signs, display racks and shelves, hoarding (opening and renovating stores), newspaper ads, packaging, labels & hang tags, windows, PR media tools (fashion lookbook and preview, special events, contests, etc.), promotional tools (gift card, coupon), etc.

Explores variations of layouts, photographic composition and treatments, typographic treatments, promotional language, colors, backgrounds, formats, etc.

Collaborates with a team of external partners and ensures follow-up on production with those concerned.

Prepares layouts and mock ups for internal presentations.

Stays abreast of design & promotional retail trends by reviewing literature, researching web, visiting markets and competition and conducting monthly store visits.


Requirements:

University degree in Graphic Design
Three to five (3 to 5) years in Graphic design (retail branding an asset)
Experience in photo shoot artistic direction an asset
Extensive knowledge of MAC environment and CS4 applications (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge)
Knowledge of MS Power Point an asset
Knowledge of multimedia related software (Flash/Dreamweaver) an asset
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and on multiple projects simultaneously
Bilingualism (French and English - oral and written)
