Graphic Designer POSITION PURPOSE:   Using drawing tools and CAD equipment, illustrate functional aspects of hardware systems, components, and other electrical or mechanical items.  Interpret data from rough sketches to plan, create, layout, and produce artwork for entire logic systems and flow diagrams.  Schedule artwork and illustrations to meet deadlines.  Select correct media, techniques and scales for all types of technical illustrations.  Train assist, and instruct first level graphic designers. KEY FUNCTIONS:    Using drawing tools and CAD equipment, illustrate functional aspects of hardware systems, components, and other electrical or mechanical items Interpret data from rough sketches to plan, create, layout, and produce artwork for entire logic systems and flow diagrams Design and prepare artwork for multi-color illustrations Prepare necessary manufacturers' bulletins for maintenance manuals Be cognizant of and comply with all prescribed and specified engineering drafting standards Coordinate scheduling of artwork and illustrations to assure manual deadlines are met Select correct media, techniques and scales for all types of technical illustrations to assure compatibility with methods used in reproduction Train, assist and instruct first level graphic designers on more difficult projects and check all work Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving) Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to or in lieu of those described above, and any duties are subject to change at any time, according to the needs of the company. EDUCATION:  Minimum high school education or equivalent, and at least one year of technical training equivalent to 1-year College level curriculum in mechanical or electrical drafting, or equivalent experience EXPERIENCE:  PRO E ExperienceMechanical work would be a great asset3 – 6 years related experience   To view additional job opportunities with TAC Worldwide Companies, please visit us at www.tacworldwide.com
