Mid America Power Systems & Services and Central Power Systems & Services (nationally known and respected leaders in generator, sales, repair and maintenance) have immediate openings for GenTechs (Generator Technicians) at several of our Missouri and Kansas facilities. These positions repair and maintain power generation equipment and will be responsible for inspections, repairs, servicing, and load bank testing on equipment.


Current positions are available in:

Riverside, Missouri (North Kansas City) –Located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, on the tree-shaded banks of the silent and swift Missouri River. Qualifications:
- A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in diesel/mechanical or electrical repair is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with generators and/or diesel engines preferred.
- Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
- The ability to troubleshoot equipment, shutdown switches, starters, battery systems.
- Able to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealers' and manufacturers' standards.
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Good driving record.
