Job Description:Position Responsibilities: - Actively propose needs-based financial solutions to clients and prospects as well as servicing current relationships through ongoing account reviews and re-evaluation of client needs. - Analyze customer situation, determining the best advice and product solutions. - Maintain, on a weekly basis, an activity log to substantiate advisory and referral activity, following up on the activity levels of all products. - Market, service, and promote the Bank's financial products. - Coordinate promotions, communications and training of investment and Insurance products with assigned branches. - Consult with experts as needed: Regional Insurance Coordinators, Financial Planners, Trust Officers and Employee Benefit Specialists. Basic Skills Required:- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email (all) - Minimum of one year investment sales, insurance sales, or financial services sales experience - Sales administration experience - Customer service experience - FINRA Series 6 or 7 License - State Life Insurance License - State Variable Insurance License(s)- Excellent communication and delivery - Excellent presentation skillsIdeal Skills - Knowledge of bank products and services - FINRA Series 24 or Series 26 License - FINRA Series 63 License - FINRA Series 65 LicenseWith over 140 years of experience, M&T Bank is considered one of the most highly regarded regional banks in the country.
