Financial Analyst
The primary focus will be to work with the PMO and Service Delivery to identify the cost components of each IT service, to enable chargeback of IT services to the business units. This includes ownership and on-going maintenance of the cost allocation model for each IT service.
In addition, this role will work with other IT colleagues to ensure that: an appropriate business case is developed for new IT/business driven initiatives; the financial justification of the request is solid, and in the case of savings, that an effective tracking process is defined; and that an IT owner for each new initiative is established prior to seeking approval.
In addition, this role will work with IFF Finance to prepare, review, approve, and maintain the global IT budget (both expense and capital).
It is expected that this individual will also assist IT Leadership in identifying key cost drivers for our IT services, and suggesting ways to continuously improve the quality of our IT services, while driving the cost down.
Scope:
Global.
Represents an expense budget of approximately $50 million, and a capital budget on average of approximately $9 million a year.

· Assist in the creation of our global IT service catalog, along with associated cost allocation models.
· Responsible to maintain the cost allocation model, and ensure that appropriate IT costs are charged out to the IT business unit that consumes each IT service. This also applies to IT projects that consume IT resources on behalf of a business initiative.
· Working with Corporate Finance, drive the creation and approval of the global IT expense and capital budgets adhering to required timelines and formats.
· Work closely with the appropriate IT Service Owner(s) and the Program Management Office (PMO) to develop an effective business case and appropriate savings/cost projection tracking in support of IT initiatives.
· Work with the IT Vendor Management function to ensure that all contracts, costs and licensing agreements are appropriately managed, mapped to the IT service in which they are used, reflected in both the expense and/or capital budgets, and included in our cost allocation model.
· Maintain and coordinate hardware/software asset management
· Prepare special financial analyses as needed for IT leadership (e.g. ROI, cost benchmarking, etc).
· Provide an appropriate and effective ‘balanced scorecard’ assessment of IT service effectiveness.
· Develop year on year comparisons of our cost per service, to drive a culture of annual reduction in the cost to provide each service, as well as improved quality and reliability.

3-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with a focus on Cost Accounting and/or activity based costing/allocation within an IT organization.
