Finance Director

Job Description:Auccessful candidate will have the following experience:? Strong accounting or finance background with practical business ability or experience. ? Track record of several years in accounting and finance leadership role.? Experienced with a range of financial analyses and modeling including discounted cash flow, lease versus buy, cost/benefit, valuation and sensitivity analysis. ? Experienced in analyzing monthly financial results and performing in-depth financial analysis. ? Experienced in working with management to set and achieve goals and assist in development and input of assumptions for forecasts and budgets. ? Experienced in developing and presenting performance reports to management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial results. ? Demonstrated financial astuteness communicating and managing the budgeting and forecasting process. ? Proactively consults with senior client management, anticipates their challenges, and proposes innovative business solutions. ? Integrate understanding of company’s products and services, the competitive landscape, and operations into day-to-day decision making. ? Ability to conduct product and market performance analyses and identify and recommend actions as needed. ? Ability to make recommendations including expense controls, asset management, and pricing and product management. ? Excellent written and oral communication skills. ? Detail oriented. ? Strong analytical skills with proficiency for analysis and modeling, creative thinking. Sound knowledge of economics. ? Functional knowledge of the accounting (PeopleSoft, Essbase, etc), and support systems ? Must have proficiency with various software applications including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with ten or more years related experience.Minimum Education Required: BachelorExpected Travel Time: About 25%This company may offer relocation assistance.
