Field Service Technician - Santa Rosa

Service Station Systems specializes in installation, start-up, construction and maintenance of service station fueling equipment and facilities and, with our sister company, Able Maintenance, we have formed the true “one call does it allâ€� organization. WE HAVE SEVERAL IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

 

Field Service Technician - Santa Rosa

 

The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

- Basic knowledge of petroleum, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment

- Maintaining and repairing petroleum dispensing equipment (e.g., vapor recovery systems, air line/pressure testing)

- Basic plumbing experience

- Basic electrical (AC/DC)

- General construction experience

- General maintenance experience

- Field service experience

- Ability to learn on-the-job

 

In addition, all technicians must have the ability to:

- follow all company safety policies and procedures

- perform physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions

- work overtime, weekends, eves or holidays as needed

- interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level

- work independently

 

The current shift(s) available are:

4/10 shift (4 days per week, 10 hours per day), 4:00pm to 2:30am, Weds-Sat or Sun-Weds

5/8 shift (5 days per week, 8 hours per day), 7:30am to 4:00pm, Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat

5/8 shift (5 days per week, 8 hours per day), 7:30am to 4:00pm, Mon-Fri

(Shifts may vary during training)

 

Once general training is completed, a company service vehicle is provided. A current California driver's license and an insurable driving record is required. All serious candidates must participate in a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screen.
