Field Service Technician - (Updated 02/05/08)

 

The ideal candidate for this position would have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Basic knowledge of petroleum, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment

- Maintaining and repairing petroleum dispensing equipment (e.g., vapor recovery systems, air line/pressure testing)

- Basic plumbing experience

- Basic electrical (AC/DC)

- General construction experience

- General maintenance experience

- Field service experience

- Ability to learn on-the-job

 

In addition, all technicians must have the ability to:

- follow all company safety policies and procedures

- perform physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions

- work overtime, weekends, eves or holidays as needed

- interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level

- work independently

 

Once general training is completed, a company service vehicle may be provided. A current Washington driver's license and an insurable driving record is required. All serious candidates must participate in a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screen.
