Field Crew Supervisor/Cad Manager (Lake City, Fl)

Bailey, Bishop and Lane, Inc. (BBL) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering, planning and land surveying firm which has been in business since 1995. We are based out of Lake City with branch offices in Tallahassee and Port St. Joe. We are currently seeking to fill a Field Crew Supervisor/Cad Manager position in our Lake City location. The qualifications will include a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position using Land Desktop and AutoCad along with experience processing TDS, preparing legal descriptions, traverse closures, FEMA certifications, creating DTM's/creating contours, and researching control for crews from LABINS and other sources. Civil 3D is a plus. This position will require you to work directly with field crews by coordinating projects both in and out of the office. The qualified candidate will be knowledgeable in TDS and RTK collection for boundary, wetlands, right of way and topographic surveys. They will also be knowledgeable in the Florida Minimum Technical Standards required for these surveys and in instructing the crew members to follow and abide by these standards. This position will require you to coordinate directly with the office staff and clients. Some travel will be required. 

Responsibilities will include keeping a good inventory of field equipment, regular checks and maintenance of said equipment, including vehicles. A company vehicle will be provided to the qualified candidate who's daily commute to the office is 25 miles or less, each way.
