Facilities Project Manager

The Ideal Candidate must have an extensive background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, emergency life safety and redundant power systems (UPS and generator equipment) and must be able to travel 30-50% of the time (air travel).

 

Summary:

Manage and oversee all renovation and space planning projects for all locations across the Americas.  Manage all projects efficiently and professionally by acting as a liaison between Stream, vendors and all key stake-holders .  Constantly strive to provide quality services and cost effective solutions for all customers.

 

Responsibilities:

Directly manage all phases of the regions Facilities projects with special focus on schedule, budget, design, construction management, furniture ordering and installation, and move-in.

Manage all internal and external resources to successfully complete all project assignments within the approved project schedule.

Provide consulting services to all Facilities Mangers by being the subject matter expert for all MEP systems (including, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, emergency life safety and redundant power systems)

Recommend the lowest cost alternative to meet corporate spending and space utilization standards.

Analyze financial data, prepare purchase requisitions, track and verify receipt of orders and review costs. Successfully manage and track and present project budgets.

Establish strong communications with internal user groups to determine forecasted space requirements and to keep Director, Facilities informed during project implementation.

Interact and coordinate all necessary tasks and activities of other departments, contractors, and vendors.

Create reports and spreadsheets, maintain project files and provide strategic support to Director, as needed.

Ability to travel 50% of the time

Strong written and verbal communication to analyze, interpret and address customer needs.

Knowledge of contact services industry and best practices.

Strong PC skills and experience with MS Office tools including MSFT Excel and Project as well as and database management tools like Notes.

Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.

Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.

Ability to multitask effectively

Ability to communicate with all levels of business

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in Corporate Facilities or electrical engineerings and construction environments

Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
