Expert SQL Server developer w/ C++/C# Job Description:SM 660832 SDE2Key skills: T-SQL, and C++/C#, LINQ, ADO.Net, XML, XSD, XSLT, SQL Server Responsibilities for this role involve working with architects and senior developers to implement components for massively scalable systems in long term and coming up with quick proof of concepts in short term. Experimentation with technology and ideas ranging from presentation to massive data storage and running fast queries are some example of hard problems in this space. We are going to operate in startup mode for initial phase at least which will require applicant to play multiple roles and take part in brain storming sessions. The candidate will be coding the design for a new platform currently held in an Incubation Environment. Eventually this platform will grow and become a widely used Semantic knowledge-based Management System. - Qualifications: Developing components and services that involve T-SQL, and C++/C# Experience with LINQ, ADO.Net, XML, XSD, XSLT At least 3 years SQL Server experience is required, working with SQL Core Engine/Management systems, SSAS & Data warehousing experience. Data Transformation from various data sources such as log file and other data bases (DTS, SSIS, or custom technology) Data Aggregation (Data access pattern analysis, OLAP, Data Warehouse, etc) Structured Error handling, Prevention of pervasive errors, Deadlock detection and prevention, etc Data Access Interface Implementation – C#, T-SQL, ADO, LINQ, optionally SPARQL Bonus skills: Experience in designing and implementing components and interfaces for large scale OLTP and OLAP systems Worked on Data Driven Platform Architectures Analyzing data, come up with robust and flexible data access interfaces independent of applications Abstraction of distributed data sources within Data Access layer Knowledge of RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL and other semantic technologies.
