We are now staffing for temp to perm positions for TXU Energy. TXU is Texas’ largest and oldest energy company. The Irving, TX campus is now seeking qualified individuals to grow with them and help service their 2 million + customers. Essential responsibilities will be: Working within an SAP operating system to identify root causes for transaction or billing related errors and to process corrections to allow for timely and accurate billing of customer accounts. Also, the individual will be accountable for identifying opportunities for process improvement to prevent recurring problems.• Audits billing exceptions and non-validations by customer information systems (including questionable meter readings or accounts with non-billable status)• Analyzes and resolves problems with customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and protection of TXU interests• Enters on-line billing adjustments to correctly update the account and generate an accurate bill for the customer• Receives and processes billing information on accounts and obtain necessary information to set up and bill accounts• Completes billing adjustment service orders, process refunds, and process sales tax exemptions and refunds.• Processes, prepares, and generates special bill forms• Works and clears billing and service order exceptions, and handle basic market transaction exceptions • Calculates manually and process billing adjustment amounts needed for various transactions including all adjustments beyond the scope of customer information systems• Processes sales tax exemption refunds or bills applicable sales taxes for non-qualifying customers in compliance with tax laws• Answers a variety of inquiries and investigate problems or disputes arising from other departments• Complete billing adjustment service orders, process refunds, and process sales tax exemptions and refunds.• Process, prepare, and generate special bill forms• Work and clear billing and service order exceptions, and handle basic market transaction exceptionsJob Experience:We are now recruiting individuals with the following qualification:*Applicants must meet all qualifications consideration.- College degree in Management Information Systems, Finance or Math or significant progress toward degree strongly preferred.- Advanced computer applications skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Access- Superior analytical skills- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to manage and investigate inquiries and disputes from start to finish- Strong math skills to accurately calculate figures manually- Ability to follow protocol, guidelines and processes to determine errors and resolutions- Strong communication skills with capability to present a written and/or verbal explanation of findings and resolutions- Experience in the energy or natural resources industry- Minimum of 3 years experience in a business/professional environment- SAP preferred but not required- Flexible and adaptableMinimum Education Required: Some CollegeYears of Experience Required: 3-5 YearsExpected Travel Time: None About Adecco North America Adecco is a Fortune Global 500 company and the world leader in workforce solutions.
