Equipment Operations Coordinator-Downers Grove, IL

BASIC FUNCTION:   Manage HUBU Fleet and Unbundled Equipment ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

•  Work with field operations groups to ensure HUBU routings in optimal lanes

•  Work with field operations groups to manage HUBU inventories and improve HUBU utilization

•  Work with field operations groups to improve utilization of unbundled equipment

•  Complete various projects and tasks associated with fleet management and equipment utilization

 

EQUIPMENT USED:

·  Computers, Lotus Notes, E-Mail, MS Word, MS Excel, Hub’s 400 operations software

·  Telephone system

·  Fax, copier, and system printers

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•  A four-year degree or work equivalent; and 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation environment

•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•  Ability to work in a team environment

•  Attention to detail and good follow-up skills

•  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

•  Good work prioritization skills

•  Ability to think quickly and make solid decisions

•  Good problem-solving skills

•  Experience with PC spreadsheets

•  Previous intermodal experience a plus
