The project engineer hired for this outstanding opportunity will focus on providing engineering services for water and wastewater projects, including the study, permitting, design, construction, startup and operational phases of all projects. This position includes client contact and supervision of other project team staff. Typical projects include water supply, treatment, pumping, storage and distribution, and wastewater collection. The position also involves limited business development activities, including proposal preparation. Position Requirements • Applicants should possess a BSCE degree or BSEnvE. • five or more years of practical, municipal water and wastewater planning experience, including design and construction engineering experience. • Would prefer that candidates have a professional engineer license from Connecticut or another state with the ability to obtain Connecticut licensure. • Preferred applicants need to also demonstrate a proven track record of being able to work both independently on small specific assignments, and as part of a large team on multidisciplinary projects. • Candidates should also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, to include strong proficiency using spreadsheets and word processing for data analysis and report generation.
