Liquip International through its recent acquisition of Beta Fluid systems in North Carolina is looking to provide an opportunity to the right person to help expand its US Business. Liquip has already achieved very significant growth in the 18 months through its existing customer base and is now embarking on a further expansion into the commercial aviation refueling equipment market. Liquip International has an excellent reputation, and currently exports products to all parts of the globe. Liquip International is owned by International Energy Services based out of Australia. This position has a direct reporting relationship to the Operations Manager. Job Requirements:
 Ability to collaborate and champion change, implement process improvement initiatives and build a strong cohesive engineering team. Must establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels and departments within the organization as well as customers and suppliers.Demonstrated capabilities to lead, manage, coach and facilitate the transfer of knowledge to others.Willingness to provide and accept constructive and direct feedback to support continuous improvement.Effective organization and project management skills including planning, prioritizing, gathering facts and data, and exercising sound judgment in problem solving.Serve as primary liaison between customer design and engineering staff.Work directly with operations and quality management to drive a culture of continuous improvement.Develop and utilize performance metrics for all areas of direct responsibility to maintain alignment of team performance with company goals.Must be experienced and comfortable working a global marketAbility to maintain drawing library and strict document control

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Desirable Experience:
 5 to 10 years of progressive engineering experience.Knowledgeable in the manufacturing and assembly of fabricated and welded components.ASME code Lean six sigmaFueling SystemsPneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical, MechanicalPressure vessel construction (aluminum and steel)Pro E or equivalentDesign for manufacturabilityCoordinating international projects
