SUMMARY: Perform technical activities related to structural design, analysis, and operations of facilities for processing, handling, storage, and disposing nuclear materials; perform office-based work, site visits, and inspections; conduct progressively independent analysis of structural and foundation systems, using CNWRA and commercially available computer codes; prepare technical reports and journal articles, make presentations to technical and advisory groups, and testify at public meetings, if necessary.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS degree in Structural Engineering with 2-4 years experience or a MS degree in Structural Engineering with 2 years experience or a PhD degree with 0-2 years experience. Course work in structural design, dynamic analysis, and numerical methods preferred. Must have excellent writing and speaking skills.
