Process Development
Design Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for developing capable processes as well as ensuring efficient and effective transfer of process and product into production. You will design tooling, equipment and processes for product introduction. You will also process incoming documentation requests and expedite documentation. Other duties will include identifying / resolving equipment requirement issues, directing personnel, assisting with corrective actions, reviewing completed products and conducting equipment validation.
Ideal candidate must possess Engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing technology degree with 5-8 years experience in medical product engineering in a manufacturing environment. Mechanical Engineer degree with college level coursework in business and management a plus. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing equipment and tooling required. Experience with personal project management preferred. Strong PC skills a must. Excellent planning and organization skills needed.
