Electronics Technician Maintenance III Mils repair team
Performs all aspects of technical supply management work (e.g. inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local or other supply activities. Complete and manage hand receipts and/or related documents. Conduct inventories on various amounts of TES equipment. Performs maintenance, repair, installation and de-installation of Miles and Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) equipment. Applies skills and technical knowledge of electronic principles in determining malfunctions and restoring equipment to normal operations. Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks to include circuit analysis, calculating waveforms, and tracing relationships in signal flow. Uses complex test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, and other related equipment. May conduct extensive to limited electronic repair/rework of TES equipment. Completes form and fit of new TES equipment to current Army inventory or old TES equipment to new Army equipment acquisitions. Conduct electronics assembly, testing, or rework on PWBs, cables or other associated hardware. Conduct Miles contact support team operations during training events. Will adhere to Company, Site Manager, Division Manager, Section and Team leader directives, memoranda, policies, and procedures. Support quality/ISO, security and safety training programs and directives.
Minimum two (2) years experience in maintenance and repair of complex electronics systems. Applicable certification(s): OIS Terrain and NTC Land Navigation certification. Possess an IPC or related solder certification. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Maximo or UNIX based systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent. AA in Electronics or related field or equivalent trade or military schooling.
Must have valid drivers license, insurance, complete a Defensive Driving Course and maintain Post driving privileges. Be able to drive under limited visibility environments utilizing Night Optical Devices. Must be able to navigate in desert under limited and inclement weather conditions. Ability to read, write and comprehend US Military Technical and Field Manuals. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Willing to work any shift to include weekends, Holidays and overtime.
Must be able to perform duties and travel in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, and wind) and at height (helicopter travel, mountain tops, elevated walk areas and towers. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
