We offer a wide array of analytical testing services to support environmental investigations focused on asbestos, microbiology, lead paint, environmental chemistry, indoor air quality,  industrial hygiene and food testing. Additionally, we also provide materials testing, characterization, and forensic laboratory services for a wide range of commercial, industrial, regulatory, and law enforcement clients. EMSL is is growing, stable, company that offers the opporutnity to cross train in other areas of analysis and offers room to grow within the company.

EMSL Analytical is currently seeking a  Electron Microscopist-Transmission Electron Analyst for its headquarters location in Westmont, NJ.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This person will be responsible for Special Projects involving the analysis of samples for asbestos or other materials using Transmission Electron Microscopy
Other duties include: Diffraction indexing, equipment calibration, and quality control sample analysis

Requirements:
Experience using a Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM)
Bachelors Degree in Science is Geology preferred.
Courses in Mineralogy is a plus
Electron Diffraction and EDX work is a plus
College students with TEM experience are welcomed.
Flexible Hours: Nights and Weekends are preferred.
