Typical work includes: repairs on electronic components and controls used in manufacturing; troubleshooting complex electrical equipment such as proximity sensing devises and emergency stop switches; performing traditional electrical power/wire hook ups; performs scheduled preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration and lubrication of equipment; use of a wide variety of hand tools, equipment, instruments, wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manuals in performing electrical maintenance. Must be able to read and edit PLC programming. Two year electrical / electronic or equivalent education, plus 2-3 years related work experience; or 5 years of specifically related work experience.. Must be familiar with standard, recognized troubleshooting practices.. Must be able to reference National Electrical Codes.. Basic computer knowledge and ability to move up to 65 pounds.. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English..
