ERP Analyst

ITS is seeking an Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst (ERP) to provide a broad range of acquisition support to the Air Force Electronic Systems Center for development, acquisition, integration, test, deployment, and sustainment of Air Force Enterprise Business Logistics. The successful candidate will become part of an advisory and assistance project team to the government with emphasis on oversight of software and process application development/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) life-cycle activities-cycle activities (change management, project management, training, testing, acquisition management, business process engineering, risk management, communications management, master scheduler, etc.) These responsibilities will include participating in, communicating with, and supporting the government in presentations, integrated product teams, planning and analysis, risk mitigation, problem resolution, alternative approaches, security evaluation of project software and hardware, costs and earned value, and documentation and report development throughout the project's life-cycle. Position Responsibilities - Leads legacy data and system integration team. Performs architectural analysis to assess impact of legacy data migration on project plans and integrated master schedule. - Must coordinate system interface changes with stakeholders both with and outside of the program office and assess associated impact on program and schedule. - Performs quality review of SI and COTS product providers legacy migration deliverables. - Coordinate practices in accordance with PMI and CMMI standards - Utilize available COTS tools - Contribute to analysis and evaluation of documentation and procedures related to business processes and modeling, requirements, design, development, testing, integration and deployment for full life-cycle project activities - Conduct and/or participate in assigned technical tasks and activities with minimum of supervision and within time and budget constraints - Obtain an understanding of requirements and end product components - Participate in the evaluation and documentation of developer/system integrator activities against client requirements and associated inconsistencies - Identify and document project related assumptions, constraints, risks and issues, and recommendations - Maintain both formal and informal communications and relationships with clients, including support for reports and presentations - Achieve high technical quality in project activities - Contribute to marketing and project development planning activities, as needed Required Qualifications: - BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related area with 5 to 8 years work experience or advanced degree in related area with 2 to 4 years work experience in system application development / implementation environment / acquisition support - Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support, Acquisition projects, and earned value techniques - Sole US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance - 3+ years in aspects of a full life-cycle development project - Familiarization and/or experience with client/server and web-based environments - Ability to objectively evaluate processes, work products and services - Communicate and participation in the resolution of non-compliance issues in a timely manner - Utilize best practices for the project's activities - Some travel may be required Desired Qualifications: - Experience with Financial or Logistics Systems - Experience with programs implemented at any governmental level (DoD, federal or state) - 3+ years in full life-cycle software application development activities/ERP activities - Professional certifications in related areas - 3+ years previous experience with government related systems development activities - 3+ years previous experience with related ERP systems development, implementation, and acquisition activities - 3+ years previous experience with related systems development/ERP activities Battelle is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Employment Opportunity M/F/D/V
