Dispatching Specialist

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a DISPATCHING SPECIALIST in our Arizona Dispatch department. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  Must be able to perform the required duties of the Dispatching Specialist I and II’s. May be required to be a floater fill in when lower level dispatchers are absent. Expert-level proficiency is required in the following duties: receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews locally and/or nationally, upon customers' requests for service by performing the following duties. Routes internal and external workflow through proficient use of appropriate software applications, including various mapping applications. May be responsible for route creation Responsible for strategic calendar management and compliance monitoring. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for dispatch policies and procedures, may recommend changes. Is able to resolve moderately complex tactical problems with limited guidance. Frequently interacts and communicates with internal contacts such as local installation management, dispatching supervisors, and installers. Frequently interacts and communicates with external contacts with subcontractors and customers on tactical issues.  Manages customer escalations. In charge of mentoring and developing new hires, conducts quality audits for new hires, and performs cross-training of new hires. Responsible for skill competency reporting. Other duties may be required This is not a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities assigned to the position. Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Requires high level computer expertise, the ability to respond to customer complaints, and the ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.   Ideal candidate will also be self directed and possess strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.  Candidates must also meet internal transfer eligibility requirements.    POSITION INFORMATION Job Status/Type: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Customer Support/Client Care Education Level: High School or equivalent
