Director of Financial Reporting

Join a $500M+ dynamically growing organization that continually outperforms in sales and the quality of their products!  This role offers lots of opportunity for advancement, is a highly visible role and reports directly to the Vice President.  The Director of Financial Reporting will be responsible for all external financial reporting, preparation of monthly financial statements prepared on a consolidated basis, technical accounting research and implementation of relevant new accounting pronouncements.  This person will also be responsible for creating better internal controls and processes.  Ideal candidate will have experience working in a Big 4 public accounting firm, moved into a SEC financial reporting role in a large manufacturing company and be an expert on SEC reporting requirements and GAAP.  Must have strong employee development and leadership skills, along with a desire to succeed!  Company offers a highly competitive salary & bonus, stock options and a truly exceptional benefit plan!
