Director, Product Marketing, Conversion Products

Introduction

Responsible for product marketing, marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, sales collateral and training, analyst interactions and launch of new products in the Conversion product family. Products include Omniture Test&Target, one of the fastest growing product lines at Omniture. This product, acquired via the combination of Offermatica and TouchClarity, allows online marketers to test offers, content and advertising directly on the web site. This product family also includes Omniture Survey, that allows marketers to reach out to a broad audience to measure audience sentiment, brand quality and awareness. Additional products that allow companies to provide site search, publishing and recommendation capabilities are planned for launch in 2008 and 2009.

DescriptionDevelop a deep understanding of Omniture’s conversion products, gain credibility with sales teams and press, analyst and other market influencers Develop positioning and messaging for individual products and for the product family. Define marketing strategy and launch plans for Conversion products. Launch integrated online and offline campaigns to create awareness across Omniture’s new product initiatives. Develop marketing plan and orchestrate all activities related to the launch of new products or releases Develop sales collateral, deliver sales training, position products competitively in the marketplace Evangelize at conferences, industry events, with industry analysts and with the blogging community Conduct competitive analysis and recommend product or marketing strategies to counter effectively Actively blog and present thought leadership viewpoint to the industry on Omniture’s product direction Define Market Requirements Documents (MRD’s) and work with development to influence product priorities Influence marketing budgets and determine optimal use of marketing resources to achieve objectives Work closely with marketing channels – AR, PR, Demand Gen, Omniture.com etc – to simplify and communicate key product messages

Qualifications

7-10 years of product marketing experience with software products in a b2b sales model Domain experience as a user or product marketer of test & target, survey, site search and publish products strongly desired. Related experience with CRM applications considered useful. Prior experience managing product marketing deliverables in a SaaS delivery model a strong plus 4 year college degree in engineering, business or related fields from a top university, MBA preferred
