For more information, visit www.ironmountain.com. Job Summary Overall responsibility for the operation of the Shred Plant and supervision of the destruction staff during the shift. This position is also responsible for filling in for the Plant Manager in their absence. This person reports and tracks production volumes per shift and identifies any safety and security issues that require attention. The key responsibilities of the position include: Provide direct supervision to production staff. Ensures that all employees are properly trained and all maintenance and safety programs are followed. Maintain and keep current all reporting: production reports, entering e-Time, scheduling plant shifts, and reviews of hourly employees. Maintain all daily, weekly, monthly and yearly check lists. Interface with transportation and/or dispatch manager on a daily basis scheduling of material coming to the Shred Plant and any concerns regarding service quality and customer satisfaction. Load and unload vendor and mill trucks as required and verify accuracy of deliveries and pickups. Maintain strict security of material, trucks and facility. Paper processing and operation of all shredders, balers, and associated equipment. Perform emergency repairs to equipment if necessary. The requirements of the position include: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior knowledge of general destruction and paper recycling industry Experience in Secure Shredding/ destructions services preferred 1 + years previous supervisory experience preferred Excellent mechanical and machine maintenance skills Ability to operate a powered industrial truck with proper licensing Forklift and BobCat License At this time, we are considering only local candidates who are able to work without employer sponsorship.
