Design Drafting Specialist
Updates and creates (if none available) P&ID, PFD, and Plot Plans for all Valero Terminaling and Distribution (VTDC) facilities. Assists ROW, Regulatory Compliance & Support and HSE Departments with updating/creating Alignment Sheets for DOT compliance and VTDC use. Provides various design drawings for engineering projects and maintenance modifications. Maintains CAD files and equipment. Provides field survey information including but not limited to ROW surveys, dike surveys, and piping surveys for construction projects.
High school diploma or GED required. Vo-Tech, and/or Technical school certification preferred. Minimum five years of directly related experience required. Strong computer skills are necessary (must be proficient with CAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external contacts required.
CANDIDATES WITH GREATER QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.
