Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 2 to 5 years of design engineering experience.2. Proven success in mechanical design and manufacturing of in oilfield equipment design.3. Proficient with PC software, specifically word processing, spreadsheets, data base applications, project management, AutoCAD â„¢ and Solidworksâ„¢4. Familiar with API 6A, API 16A, NACE MR0175, ASME section 8 5. Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings, engineering concepts and product design.6. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently, coupled with the ability to plan and perform work with minimal direction and supervision.7. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables and situations where only limited standardization exists.8. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.9. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles a plus.10. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven demonstration of effective and efficient interfacing with all levels of employees, vendors and customers.Responsibilities:1. Performs diverse engineering activities involving product evolution and design.2. Assist with the research and development of products and projects.3. Assist with the redesigning of various product lines for cost effectiveness and improved performance.4. Maintenance of engineering integrity of, and design modification to, assigned projects.5. Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts.6. Sketches rough layouts and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages and location of holes.7. Coordinates and supports project personnel for specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans and product testing.8. Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications.Don't miss out!
