Database Engineer 1

Job Description: For this contract-to-hire position, you will bring your experience as Database Engineer to this industry leader in application-aware storage.Job Experience: EBS Service Request, Install Base, Service Contract and Hyperion Reporting a plus Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in working with Oracle ERP, versions 11.5.9 & above Ability to work with senior developers on large projects in delivering those components assigned in a timely manner Ability to clearly communicate with team members on issues, status and design ideas throughout the application team Reporting of day-to-day operational metric reporting and analysis Level 1 support for all EBS Application Services & Issues Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with specialization in IS 3+ years of Oracle Application development experience Experience with certain aspects of Oracle Apps (11.0.3/11i) & Oracle Database (8i/9i/10g//10g RAC) in large scale UNIX & Linux environments Some understanding of Oracle Applications modules, preferably in the CRM space Experience in managing and working through Oracle's TAR escalation process, applying software patches and upgrading the Oracle Apps environment Strong interpersonal, communication and client facing skills Ability to take direction on large development projects and deliver on set expectations Team player with hard working "do what it takes" attitudeMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: At Least 3 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
