Data Entry - OCR Keyer, Part-Time

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures claims are processed in an accurate and timely manner by keying data via OCR system terminal for pre-authorization and  payment by meeting production and quality standards (under general supervision).

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handles on-line data verification, keying data from image and editing  information

while meeting expected claim per hour and accuracy. Verifies subscriber and/or patient eligibility, provider ID’s, codes, dates of birth, etc.Ability to work in a high production environment.Must be able to follow detailed instructions.Verifies work to ensure accuracy and completeness.Ability to navigate within a PC system.Ensures efficiency by quickly resolving on-line edits.Other duties as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:Six months keyboard experience or pc experience.Excellent alphanumeric keyboard skills Detail-oriented.Ability to work independently and with a team.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast paced production environment.Dental experience a plus.

Part time = 20 hours per week, benefits eligible
