Job Experience:Mandatory Job Requirements:. U.S. Citizenship with Secret or Interim Secret clearance. BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience)Technical Skills: Plan, design, implement and support IT architecture for the LEISP program. Work closely with the IT team members on installation, configuration and upgrades (migration) to the database management system software and hardware. Responsible for setting up / create databases, design application schemas/integrity, and conduct performance tuning / optimization. Provide operations support as required 24x7 services. . Minimum of 8 years of Oracle Database Administration experience. Knowledge of physical/logical/DB design, development, installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle database. Experience supporting and maintaining critical database environments containing high volumes of data. Experience upgrading Oracle database in a cluster environment. Experience with installation, configuration and upgrades (migration) to the database management system software and hardware. Hands on experience with database reorganization and tuning. Experience establishing backup and recovery procedures needed for high availability, disaster recovery and data integrity. Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of large-scale data warehouse databasesOptional Skills:. Ability to work independently and research/resolve technical issues and solutions. Prior hands-on experience implementing technical solutions to include: Identifying the problem, Research/investigating potential solutions, Testing potential solutions, Providing recommended solution, Implementing solution (including documentation). Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to understand and analyze technical problems and develop workable solutions. Good communications skills, both verbal and written. Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of individuals and personalities
