Job Description:Irvine Technology is looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Management professional who can drive efforts around enterprise data modeling and definition, applying life-cycle processes, tools and governance working with data subject matter experts, data analysts, and other stakeholders based in North America and Europe. The individual will also lead Enterprise Messaging and XML Modeling efforts and support the definition and maintenance of message payload data and metadata definitions that will be used by all applications that communicate over the Enterprise Service Bus.Direct HireBase Salary + Bonus Start ASAPOrange County, California5+ to 7 years of experience Skills Required:Experienced in the creation of enterprise wide data models and definitions as well as the processes, methods and governance to achieve consistency of definition and structure.Highly skilled in logical and physical relational data modeling/design.Skilled in developing Enterprise Message Models (Canonical Models) based on XML Schema.Excellent data analysis and facilitation skills, i.e., able to produce or lead production of data models using a variety of inputs such as requirements analysis;SME interviews; and business process, data flow, metadata, authoritative data source and data quality analyses.In depth knowledge of industry standard data modeling tools/repositories.Knowledgeable about commercial DBMS, especially Oracle, including familiarity with SQL.Familiarity with data integration, data warehousing and integration middleware ESBAbility to work with geographically dispersed teams.Skills Desired: Skilled in alternate modeling techniques - class/object, object role, UML, AMO, etc.Knowledge of the capital markets industry.Knowledge of financial industry standard XML vocabularies.Knowledge of an ETL toolset(s), especially Informatica.Knowledge of a variety of information architecture themes such as EAI, EII, metadata management, MDM, data warehousing, data quality, data virtualization, SOA, etc.
