Provide dispatch assistance including tower control, communication to flight crews, weather observation and dissemination and controlling air traffic in the ILN Terminal Area and on the ground; control airport lighting, runway and taxiway usage; monitor/ensure all airport components are operating properly; monitor/correct airport Navaid; issue Notams as necessary; ensure ATIS is updated; perform other duties as assigned.

Must have HSD/GED; 1 year experience as a Air Traffic Control Specialist; FAA CTO (Control Tower Operator) License and ability to pass ILN Certification; ability to obtain Weather Observers License; excellent communication skills; high level of understanding of: interpreting aviation weather reports, FAR Parts 121, 135 and 91, aircraft performance limits, emergency procedures, and airport operations. Prefer Private Pilot License; college level or specialized training in aviation or BS/BA in Aeronautical Science or related Aviation Technical Degree; experience in Flight Operations with a FAR 121 carrier; aircraft performance background, Licensed Aircraft Dispatcher experience or commensurate experience.
