Job DescriptionReceive telephone requests for emergency and non-emergency police service and information. Record calls in database for service, administrative operations and warrants. Determine the priority of responses needed for police and other emergency services, and coordinate and dispatch these services. Search for and enter data on-line, monitor alarms, and greet visitors to the station.Required SkillsRequires: Two years of college or equivalent, familiarity with computers, excellent communication skills, and one year of related experience, preferably in law enforcement or emergency medical work. This position is 40 hours per week, (schedule to be determined), and is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.SalaryGrade 00 -
