DIRECTOR, Contracts
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Contracts is responsible for management and administration of contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and direct interface with customer Contractual points of contact and internal departments, such as Operations and Finance & Accounting. Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal/pricing. Reviews and resolves issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work in conjunction with AccentCare Account Executives to prepare contracts for presentation to potential customers Coordination of contract consolidations due to acquisitions, change of business lines, addition and deletion of AccentCare locations Preparation of proposal/application process for licensing and/or bidding of contracts or grants Maintain contract database in an organized fashion and provide access for field employees Respond to requests from contracted entities in regards to credentialing and auditing activities to maintain contract compliance Assist in the development of models and standards to simplify and streamline future contracting activities Manage payer risk relationships and assist with managing accounts receivables Frequent phone follow up and periodic meetings with MCO, State and Federal customers to ensure AccentCare performance meets their needs All other duties, as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree and 5-10 years of experience in healthcare related to sales, government contracting, consulting or managed care Hands-on experience with various types of proposal pricing with strong Microsoft skills Requires an organized and articulated individual who has strong attention to detail and is able to set and meet deadlines Strong analytical, planning, communication, presentation, and organization skills with demonstrated track record of successful management Knowledge of commercial, Medicaid and Medicare HMOs, PPOs and alternative financing programs preferred Skilled at relationship management with key internal and external partner/contract entities Strong work ethic and proven track record of stability within an organization Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects Please email resume to: homehealthcareers@accentcare.com OR fax: (800) 607-3307 to include salary information.
