JOB TITLE:      Customer Service Representative

 

JOB SUMMARY: Answering customer calls from Kroger banner stores and providing necessary follow up to stores, primarily regarding order discrepancies for various product categories.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Answer incoming customer calls or web communication, responding to the store’s immediate needs, as well as following up with issues that need further investigation on order discrepancies.

· Communicate with all areas of the business such as Stores, Division Office personnel, Sales & Service, Releasing, FOG coordinators, as well as Distribution personnel in traffic, inventory control, and pharmacy.

· Call resolution, including tracing late deliveries, tracing late promotional product, product billing verifications, handbills, working with the warehouses to provide information to correct mispicks and issue credits on damaged and shorted product as needed.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

· Strong interpersonal skills, professional handling of all contacts.

· Excellent follow through, prioritizing workload, communication (oral as well as written), organizational skills and detail oriented

· PC skills with working knowledge of excel and word as well as basic math skills.

· Must be available to work between the hours of 7AM-7PM and rotate weekends (Sat/Sun 8AM-1PM or as business need dictates)

· Willing to learn systems not currently trained on:  ESI, Datamart, Skope, FOG  PIDS, Chainstore, Infopac, WIN, Web Manuals, Web CSR Program, CSR phone system, Peyton’s delivery policies and procedures, Peyton website and applications.



 

This position would be best suited for someone who enjoys interacting with and helping others.  Professional, oral and written, communication skills, as well as follow-up skills, are a must for this customer service position.  Must be able to work independently, prioritizing customer needs.  Flexibility in work schedule also required.
