Customer Service Associate

Job Summary Statement:

 

Candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English.  Candidate must be capable of reading and writing in both languages.  Must have excellent computer and communication skills.  Prefer candidate have inside sales / customer service experience. Experience in export / import a plus.  Duties include receiving orders from customers and performing various administrative duties to assure proper placement of customer orders.

 

Essentials Duties & Responsibilities:

 

   Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

   Ability to communicate throughout the Caribbean and Latin America effectively as a liaison between customers, transport companies and Steelite personnel concerning customer orders, shipment, stock availability and general customer concerns.

   Receives customer orders by the way of phone, fax or mail and inputs information into database and disseminates information out to necessary departments.

   Must communicate with Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager and the Warehouse Manager concerning stock availability, shipment dates and deliveries.

   Must communicate with Shipping and Warehousing concerning outgoing shipments.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  A background in team oriented, fast paced insides sales / customer service environment.  Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization to include Steelite’s management and sales representatives.
