Corporate Sales Administrator/Coordinator

Job Purpose:
Supports salesmen, vendors, customers, and sales managers by processing orders, invoices, and quotation requests.

Duties:
* Maintains customer satisfaction by establishing rapport with salesmen, and vendors and others in a position to help meet customer needs.

* Prepares orders for shipping by answering phones; receiving facsimiles; editing, verifying, and coordinating information with production scheduling, plant shipping, and customer service departments; inputting data.

* Processes customer invoices by matching bills of lading; adding additional charges; completing daily billing.

* Processes invoicing edit by sorting and running balancing tapes; printing edit; reviewing for accuracy.

* Resolves product and service problems by researching the situation; identifying alternate means of filling customer needs; recommending solutions.

* Processes order and quote requests by answering phones; receiving facsimiles; inputting information into database; printing, copying, and forwarding to sample department for filling and mailing to customers.

* Resolves inventory allocation problems by monitoring stock versus orders; anticipating needs; placing and expediting inventory replenishment; verifying receipt of inventory; reconciling transaction reports.

* Publishes pricing updates from vendors to salesmen.

* Processes Vendor Invoices to AP Department, by verifying amounts; selecting account numbers; and coding for processing of payments.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains technical knowledge by in house training, seminars, and regular product training.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
