POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Blackbird Technologies is currently interviewing qualified candidates for the position of Contracts Administrator.  Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Administrator is responsible for administration and oversight of contracts in support of existing and new business activities.  Contract types include: IDIQ, Cost Plus, T&M, and Fixed Price.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Performing contract administrative duties from cradle-to-grave:  evaluating and analyzing RFPs, developing cost proposals, performing contract negotiations, providing daily contract administration, and performing contract close-outs

·         Ensuring proper compliance with CAS and DCAA accounting procedures and policies

·         Preparing and negotiating Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Subcontractor Agreements

·         Providing cost and schedule analysis, budget/actuals tracking and monthly financial reports

·         Assisting in the development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and Estimates to Complete (ETCs)

Required Skills/Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related discipline

·         5-7 years of experience in contracts administration

·         Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and other Government regulations

·         5+ years experience preparing cost and price proposals for government contracts

·         5+ years experience administering government contracts

·         Experience with Government Property Administration

·         Must have pricing/costing experience

·         Must possess the ability interface well with internal management as well as customers and vendors

·         Must work well in a fast paced environment while handling multiple projects, contracts and customers simultaneously

·         Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as within a team environment
