INDUSTRY LEADER seeks a PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR!

TMI offers full (turn key) services in traffic control ranging from job surveys, to engineered plans, permit negotiation, permits, and traffic control set-ups.

 

 

TMI is the industry leader in traffic control services. Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator for our Long Beach, CA location. This is an immediate opening! As a qualified candidate, meeting all requirements -we provide you TMI Project Manager / Estimator training!







Primary focus for Project Manager / Estimator is to create estimates for large and small-scale projects to continue Company growth and profitability. Not limited to providing estimates for other Departments as required.

 

 

Candidate Requirements:  

  Construction / industry relevant experience desired Exceptional customer service experience required High School Diploma / Graduate Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Available to work M-F / 45+ hour work week Computer literate; Microsoft Suite & Access Business development and sales experience Analytical minded, experience in financial dealings Multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities Strong team environment, flexibility & leadership qualities Experience managing prospects into clients, rapport building High-energy and motivation to succeed

 

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

Handle incoming calls Work with Sales department to Identify & Prospect New clients Coordinate New Jobs for job-walks, site inspections, etc. Send prospective credit applications to Client, then process internally Collect client / job info: location, duration, type, services required, etc. Maintain Access database current with project and contact information  Prepare estimates for all TMI projects Coordinate Planning, Permits & Dispatch for pricing and availability Maintain estimate / job bid files Track and monitor status of types of projects up for bid Maintain accurate pricing reference records Maintain equipment inventory counts for respective jobs Articulate anticipated/estimated time and costs vs. actual time/costs Track win/loss ratio of completed estimates
