Ensure that the agenda aligns w/ target audience needs.- Create and manage event programs and features with a view to enhancing event appeal and customer satisfaction: networking opportunities, social activities, etc.- Stay abreast of events competitive landscapes. - Manage overall budgets for all portfolio events.- Coordinate the activities of the Virtual Event team (operations, marketing, and sales)- Develop overall lead time schedules for projects to keep projects and team on track.- Drive the strategy to capture and analyze customer feedback (evaluation surveys etc) and use the feedback analysis to improve the event.- Work with international counterparts to share event strategy and create global footprint for events.Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years experience in events management especially strong on operational side of the business.- Minimum 2 years management experience leading a team of at least 2 associates.- Exposure to other aspects of events management a must (i.e. venue management, supplier management, etc.).- Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).- Excellent communication and leadership skills essential.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: NOAMERICA - United States - CT - Stamford, CTJob Number: 7042BRCompany URL: http://www.gartner.com/careers
