•Location:    Overland Park, KS 66204•Job Status:    Full Time, Employee•Job Category:    Accounting/Finance/Insurance•Career Level::    Experienced (Non-Manager)Compliance Director Job Description:Responsible for managing compliance functions within Capital One Home Loans located in Overland Park, KS.Responsibilities: Interprets regulations and assists business unit in establishing processes to comply with new and existing regulations while enabling business value. Scopes the business and operations impact of proposed and actual changes in law. Provides high level compliance support in more complex compliance situations. Partners with executive leadership to set overall compliance strategy. Informs business managers of requirements of the laws and regulations in order to be compliant. Coordinates regulatory compliance reporting to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Coordinates corrective action for regulatory violations and other issues impacting salability of loans originated by COHL. Oversees corporate compliance management program. Guides organization in the development and maintenance of procedures and controls documents.Job Experience:Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 5 years work experience in consumer lending compliance Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years experience in Compliance management 5+ years experience in Banking or Financial Services Ability to build relationships across a broad range of internal and external constituencies Demonstrated leadership and management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Problem solving and innovative thinking skills Mortgage industry experience Ability to develop and inspire team members Certified Risk Professional, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)No agencies please.
