Clinical dietitian

Clinical dietitian to provide nutritional services to patients in acute care setting. Dietitians will assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs, and evaluate and report the results. Other job responsibilities to include: assessment and appropriate documentation of patients’ nutritional and health status, creating and monitoring nutrition care patient plans, supervising food service workers to assure patients receive appropriate meals, making rounds at mealtime to assess resident acceptance of nutrition interventions, patient education and counseling, and fulfilling other related duties as directed.

Position requirements

Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related discipline

Valid Ohio Dietician license

Registered Dietician certification

Minimum 1 year of professional experience as dietitian preferred

Ability to successfully coordinate and communicate with other medical staff to ensure proper care of all patients

Strong commitment to providing top quality service and care to the each individual patient

Ability to accurately maintain confidentiality of patients' files and documentation and submit paperwork/documentation as required
